Music by The Piano Brothers

Eleanor M. Freymiller, age 86 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2018, at her home in Boscobel.  She was born on May 19, 1932 at Byrds Creek, rural Blue River.  The daughter of Glenwood and Elma (Persinger) Randall.  She married Lou Leland "Mac" Freymiller on September 1, 1950 at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ, in Marion Township Grant County Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on March 5, 2010.  Eleanor was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was Gramma Mac and /or Gurney to all who entered her home.  In her younger years she was the roller skating queen, she loved to dance until her legs would no longer let her.  She was the  family entertainer, always pulling a prank on someone.  Her door was always open to everyone-with a meal on the table and a game of cards waiting to be played.
She was a great provider and teacher, living off the land as a farmwife and partner.  She loved putting puzzles together and crafting, which left mementos for all of us family and friends.
Eleanor was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She was a woman of great faith and taught most of Marion and Steuben Township Bible and Sunday School.  She was also a member of Marion Ladies Aide.  Eleanor thought her greatest legacy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She lit up a room with her smile, wit and laughter.  Ironic that she was an avid collector of angels, maybe because she was one herself.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by three daughters; Deborah (Bryce) Updike of Woodman, Glenda (Ryan) Reynolds of Boscobel, Deanna (John) Shimpach of Wauzeka. 10 Grandchildren 22 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Brother Ronald Randall of Idaho. 1 sister Lyndy Moran of Boscobel. 1 brother in law: Harold Beinborn of Cuba City. 6 Sister in laws: Charlotte Randall of Cuba City, Bernadine Wachter of Woodman, Darlene Mueller of Prairie du Chien, Adelia Brechler of Boscobel, Evelyn Freymiller of Fennimore, Sherry (Art) Freymiller of Fennimore.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Ralph and Harland Randall, and Leo Nevel.  Two sisters; a Twin Sister Evelyn Randall, and Dorothy Beinborn, along with a  brother in law; Logan Randall.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Pastor Stan Pegran and Pastor Barbara Wolfe officiating.  Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery Hickory Grove Township. Friends may call on Tuesday May 29, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel, and also on Wednesday from 10;00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. What a beautiful, loving family that emanated from Eleanor and Mac's love. I've always loved and admired Eleanor. Hardworking and knowing how to have fun were only a couple of Eleanor's great qualities. Eleanor was always level-headed and could skirt drama, a wise woman to learn the benefits of living life this way. I will truly miss my Aunt Eleanor. May God Bless Eleanor and all members of her extended family.
