Donald J. "Don" Eaton, age 80 of Boscobel, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on October 3, 1937 in Blue River, Wisconsin, the son of Clyde and Lorraine (Groom) Eaton. Don was a US Army Veteran. He owned and operated Eaton Equipment in Boscobel. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Eaton of Boscobel, his daughter Kerry (Eaton) Peterson and husband Rick of Prairie du Chien, son Michael Eaton and wife Lori of North Port Fl., daughter Kristi Wagner and Jeff Walker of Oregon, six grandchildren; Lindsay, Zackary, Skyler, Jason, Samuel, and Molly, five great-grandchildren; David, Macy, Isaiah, Brody, and Myah, one brother Dwaine "Nick" (Priscilla) Eaton of Oconomowoc, one sister Shirley "Joan" Bethke of Richland Center. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday February 12, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, with a brief service at 7:00 P.M.. Burial will be at a later date. Online condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com

So sorry to hear about Don's sudden passing. I was just up there less than two weeks ago to see him. It was nice visiting with him and he was always so accommodating. He will be missed by all of us in the cheese business.
