Floyd L. Drake, age 82, of Steuben, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore.  He was born on March 27, 1935 on Nyland Ridge, Crawford County Wisconsin.  The son of Clifford and Clara (Heisz) Drake.  He married Delores Curtis on September 10, 1955 at the Congregational Church in Steuben.  Floyd was a lifetime farmer and avid fast pitch softball player.  He is survived by his wife Delores Drake of Steuben. One son Jeff Drake of Steuben. One daughter Dawn (Tom) Scanlan of Platteville. Three grandchildren, Mattea Scanlan of Platteville, McKenzie Scanlan of Eau Claire, Ambriel (Doug)  Renn-Scanlan of Kansas City Kansas.  Three great-grandchildren Teddy, Ben, and Danny  Elmer.  His mother Clara Drake of Boscobel. One sister Donna Garcia of Madison. Two nieces Lisa Reinicke of Milwaukee, Peggy (Larry) Boettger of Madison.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Drake and in-laws Joe, Ruth and John Curtis.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Pastor Brenda Whitford officiating. Burial in the Haney Ridge Cemetery, Crawford County.  Friends may call on Thursday, February, 8 2018 from 9:00 A.M until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Boscobel Rescue Squad.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com

My mother is Ida Ward and she is not able to make the services and would like to let you all know that she is thinking of you, and very sorry to hear about Floyd. Dawn, I lived in Platteville for quite a few years and remember running into you an your husband many times. I am praying for you and your family. God Bless!!
