Brian P. Boak, age 61 of Blue River, passed away on Friday December 29, 2017 at Gundersen Hospital in LaCrosse. He was born on August 17, 1956 in Boscobel. The son of Arthur and Kathryn (Brock) Boak. He is survived by two daughters, Ahriel Boak of LaCrosse , Brianna Boak of LaCrosse. A son Chris (Mandy) Kinyon of Holmen. Four grandchildren Max Brennan of LaCrosse. Payton, Carson, and Landon Kinyon of Holmen. His former wife Connie Kinyon of LaCrosse. His step-Mother Eulalia Hall Boak of Boscobel. His siblings, Sheila (Robert) Roehl of Orion, Tom Boak of Blue River, Greg (Mary) Boak of Middleton, Martin (Susan) Boak of Holland Michigan, LaMont (Mary Ellen) Boak of Blue River, Vince (Annie) Boak of Blue River, Kathryn (Bruce) Pittsley of Gays Mills, Tarry (Mary) Hall of Onalaska, Barbara (Tom) O'Leary of Boscobel, Gloria (Patrick) Krutza of Monroe, David Hall of Montfort, Pam (Jeff) Miller of Muscoda. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Faustino Riez SJS officiating. Burial in the Tavera Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday January 2, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral home in Boscobel, with a Rosary service at 7:30P.M. and from 10:00 A.M. until the departure time to Church on Wednesday. Military honors will be accorded by the Blake Semrad American Legion Post #134 and the Gilbertson-Pitzer-Radley VFW Post #10393 both of Bosccobel. My deepest sympathies on your loss. I was fortunate enough to meet the Boak side this last summer. I was at the reunion & I believe I may have met Brian. I’m a cousin Harold Boak was my grandfather.
