Delos Wayne Faulkner, age 69, of Boscobel, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Boscobel Care & Rehab. He was born on March 18, 1948, the son of Dallas and Betty (Pittsley) Faulkner. Delos graduated from Boscobel High School in 1966 and then joined the Army Reserve.  He married Donna Reiger on November 9, 1968 in Wauzeka, Wisconsin.

Delos spent much of his time outdoors doing what he loved and took pride in. Hunting, fishing, trapping, and gardening were things that just came natural to him. He was employed by Royal Parlour for over 10 years, then became a long time employee for the city of Boscobel for 22 years.  He retired in 2000 due to an illness.  After his illness, he enjoyed countless visits from friends and family, especially the frequent visits from his brother Doc.  He also enjoyed preparing a good meal, feeding and watching the birds, and spending time on his deck.   Most of all, he cherished spending time with his granddaughters, watching them grow, and giving his fatherly guidance.

Delos is survived by his wife Donna of 48 years; children: Pamela Yahn of Boscobel, David (Tara) Faulkner of Fennimore; siblings: Dallas "Doc" (Carol) Faulkner of Boscobel, Diane (Larry) Parrish of Boscobel; special granddaughters whom he adored: Rachel and Rebecca Yahn and Grace, Claire, and Sophie Faulkner. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and his inlaws: Frederick "Fritz" (Ruth) Reiger of Boscobel, Denny (Judy) Reiger of Blue River, and Jim (Dianne) Hazen of Wauzeka.   He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Delores Feldmann.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 5th at the Kendall Funeral home in Boscobel from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A private burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Boscobel Rescue Squad or Boscobel Fire Department. Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com.
