Helen Ruth Wetter, age 64, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Helen was born on November 3, 1952 in Lancaster, WI, the daughter of the late Allen and Ruth Wetter. She graduated from Boscobel High School and enjoyed fishing, doing crafts, and decorating cakes for family functions. She had a passion for working which took her to restaurants such as the Manhattan Club, Stardust, and The Blue Paradise. Helen loved her dog She-She and bird Jackson dearly. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Boscobel and an advocate for cancer research.
Helen is survived by her brothers Brad (Vicki) Wetter of Boscobel and Ron (Chris) Wetter of Woodman; sisters Sheri (Bill) Waterman of Boscobel and Marla Knudson of Lone Rock; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is further survived by her special life-long friend Debbie (Tom) Gilbertson of Boscobel and special niece Lesa (Marty) Novinska of Fennimore who shared many memories in Helen’s life.
The Funeral Service for Helen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Kendall Funeral Service, 209 Mary Street, Boscobel, with Lance Wetter officiating. I was so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. I met Helen for the very first time when I attended a church hayride and we became friends and all through our remaining school years we were locker buddy's as our last names started with W. Then through the years I enjoyed many conversations at my beauty shop with her and found Helen to be a very caring and compassionate friend. She loved her family and lived vicariously through her parents, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. She was always a good friend and I extend my sympathies to all her family members. I hope you each have fond memories and May she Rest In Peace. Judy

Sorry to hear of Helen's passing although I know that the last few years were not the best for her. I hadn't seen her in quite some time but remember her lovely laugh. A very sweet person. I was confused about the time of her visitation so missed it. to the family:
Remember the good times. Rest in peace, Helen you will be missed.

We just learned of Helen’s death. Our sympathies to her family. Sandy remembers Helen riding the school bus together. She was always friendly and cheerful, ready to visit and share news and memories. God’s strength and blessings always.
