Dateline-Blue River

Irma A. Rosauer, age 78 of Lancaster and formerly of Blue River, passed away on Sunday July 16, 2017 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster.  She was born on March 23, 1939 in Festina Iowa.
​ She was the second youngest of 8 children and the last surviving child  of William and Regina (Kipp) Scholbrock. She helped her Dad at the family owned feed mill.  She met the love of her life Charles Rosauer,​ ​s​he married Charles Rosauer on September 27, 1958 in Calmar Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2011.   ​After they were married they moved to Wisconsin around 1965 where in 1969 they made there home in Blue River. Over the years she had various jobs, but being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was her true passion.  She loved to sew, do crafts, cook and dance.  Her faith had carried her through tough  times  Through the years she was an active member of the CB club, and Big River Long Rifle rendezvous Club.  Irma is survived by her children Connie Rosauer (Chis  Ferkey) both of Vesper Wi., Deb (Kory) Krogen of Boscobel, Gerry (Julie) Rosauer of Blue River.  9 Grandchildren 4 Great-Grandchildren . A sister in law Dorothy Scholbrock of Festina Ia.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bernie Rosauer, a daughter in law Terri Rosauer along with 2 Grandsons Chucky  and Ryan Rosauer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel.  Father Faustino Ruiz officiating.  Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery.  Friends may call on Thursday July 20, 2017 from 9:00 Am until the departure  to the church at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice. com

Know that I am with you in thought and prayers as you mourn the loss of your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. May you be comforted by our Heavenly Father today and always in the days ahead. Hold onto the beautiful memories you have and smile as you think of them. I am so glad I had the privilege of knowing Irma. She was a beautiful, kind, & caring person and I was glad I could call her my friend. She will be truly missed by everyone!
