Bertha M. Farrell, age 88 of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday January 15, 2011 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel. She was born on November 15 1922 in Plain Wisconsin. The daughter of Mat and Anna (Bindl) Pulvermacher. She married Raymond Farrell on June 29 1943 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. She is survived by her husband Raymond of Boscobel. Five sons:  Michael Farrell of Mt. Hope, Jim (Linda) Farrell of Boscobel, Gary (Sue) Farrell  of Boscobel, David (Lissa) Farrell of Wichita Falls Texas, Francis (Jane) Farrell of Sun Prairie. Two Daughters: Joan (Peter) Ersland of Madison, Mary (Keith) U'ren of Fennimore. 13 Grandchildren 9 Great-Grandchildren. One sister Ann Messerli of Prairie du Chien. She was preceded in death by her parents, a infant daughter Teresa Farrell, 8 brothers, 4 sisters. Two infant grandsons Michael and Edward Farrell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednsday January 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday January 18,2011 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, with a Rosary service at 7:30 P.M.
