Bertha M. Farrell, age 88 of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday January 15, 2011 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel. She was born on November 15 1922 in Plain Wisconsin. The daughter of Mat and Anna (Bindl) Pulvermacher. She married Raymond Farrell on June 29 1943 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. She is survived by her husband Raymond of Boscobel. Five sons:  Michael Farrell of Mt. Hope, Jim (Linda) Farrell of Boscobel, Gary (Sue) Farrell  of Boscobel, David (Lissa) Farrell of Wichita Falls Texas, Francis (Jane) Farrell of Sun Prairie. Two Daughters: Joan (Peter) Ersland of Madison, Mary (Keith) U'ren of Fennimore. 13 Grandchildren 9 Great-Grandchildren. One sister Ann Messerli of Prairie du Chien. She was preceded in death by her parents, a infant daughter Teresa Farrell, 8 brothers, 4 sisters. Two infant grandsons Michael and Edward Farrell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednsday January 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday January 18,2011 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, with a Rosary service at 7:30 P.M. To the Farrell's and family,
My deepest sympathy in Bertha's passing. Although I didn't know her as well as others, I liked her immediately when I met her. I could tell that she was fun and loving. She will bring joy to heaven. May God's peace bring you comfort in this very difficult time.

My most sincere sympathy to the Farrell family. Bertha was a very special lady who will be greatly missed by her family. I shall always remember her for her friendliness and her warm smile. You were blessed as a family to have her for so many wonderful years.
