Kay A. Bacon, age 72 of Boscobel, passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016 at her home in Boscobel.  She was born on September 4, 1944, in Boscobel Wisconsin. The daughter of Earl and Lillian (Grimesey) Broadbent. She married Hugh Bacon on May 28, 1989 at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2016. She is survived by 3 sister in laws: Patricia Broadbent of Stoughton , Marie (Broadbent) Fuller of Boscobel, Fayette Prestegard of Waupaca . Several Nieces and Nephews. A special Cousin Orrel  Broadbent of Prairie du Chien. She was preceded in death by her parents, her birth father Raymond Broadbent. 3 Brothers: Harry, Bernard,  and Lyle Broadbent. Two sisters: Betty  (Kinder) Molyett  , Mary Zinck Gibbs

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 12, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Pastor Lance Wetter officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until the time of service at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. A Legion Auxiliary service will be held at 11:45 A.M. at the Untied Methodist Church in Boscobel.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Boscobel Veteran's memorial. Condolences to the family. Kay graduated in 1962 class with Ed and was a longtime friend of our family. She loved our children and each had their own special pillow made by Kay. So sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers for family at this time. Ed and Pat Mohn
