Myrna M. McCullick, age 89, of Boscobel, died on Saturday evening, Oct. 22, 2016 at Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital.  She was born on March 24, 1927 in Clayton Twsp., Crawford Co., WI the daughter of John and Ida (Steiner) Copus.  She married Leland McCullick on Feb. 18, 1946, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Rolling Ground.

Myrna and Leland farmed and raised their family on County W outside of Boscobel.  Together they raised a family of four, one boy and three girls.  Myrna enjoyed spending all the time she could in the outdoors whether it be working in her garden or mowing the grass.  She also was a great cook and baker.  Myrna and Leland looked forward to their annual trip to northern Wisconsin, even if only a weekend away is all the farm would allow.  Myrna was an amazing mother and grandmother who would do anything for her family.

Myrna is survived by her four children, Arnold (Jackie) McCullick of Boscobel, Joyce (Mike) Stimpson of Fennimore, Nancy (Rick Rider) Beechey of Patch Grove, and Jane (Elling) Jones of Gays Mills, 13 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren and a sister Juanita Smith of Boscobel.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leland, grandson Bill McCullick, step-granddaughter Sherri Cunningham, brothers Beuford, Raymond and Paul Copus, and sisters Fern Dilley and Rose Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday morning Oct. 27, 2016 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Rolling Ground with Father Zacharie Beya officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at St. Philip Catholic Church on Thursday morning.

My sympathies to all of the family! Gee, I have SO many memories of your mom and young years on our farms going back and forth for Sun. dinners and Mom, Dad, Aunt Myrna, and Uncle Leland playing cards. The good ol' days..we keep them close in our minds and hearts! God bless you all.

My sincerest condolences to the family. May she rest in peace.
This is not really the place but please excuse me. My Grandma Vance was Emma Steiner and I see Myrna's mother was Ida (Steiner) Copus. My mom's name was Ida (Vance) Degenhardt. I wonder if there is a family connection there? My Grandparents George & Emma Vance are buried at Tavera. They lived all thru that area many moons ago. Thanks for any genealogy help you can provide.
God Bless
