Ruth A. Markin, age 88 of Beloit and formerly of Excelsior, passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at the Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Home in Beloit.  She was born on April 20, 1928 in Gays Mills Wisconsin.  The daughter of Ashland and Edna (Sutherland) Copus.  She married William "Bun" Markin on August 6, 1946 in Prairie du Chien Wisconsin.  He preceded her in death on January 28, 1998. She is survived by Four sons: Clifford (Kathleen) Markin of S. Beloit Illinois, Roger Markin of Muscoda, Timothy (Carol) Markin of S. Beloit Illinois, Neal (Cindy) Markin of Panama City Beach Fl. 18 Grandchildren, 34 Great-Grandchildren 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren. One sister Betty Monroe of S. Beloit Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Denise Markin, and a great-granddaughter Brooklyn Lindvig.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Mary Ann Floreke officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery.  Friends  may call on Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall  Funeral Home.  Online condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com

What a wonderful woman she was always with a smile when ever i saw her. Now she is with her Bun we pray blessing to all of you for peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate her life. God Bless.
