Carol F. Varvil, age 74, of Boscobel, passed away on Sunday July 3, 2016 at the Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel. She was born on February 16, 1942 in Kenosha Wisconsin. The daughter of Nels and Edna (Vinz) Jensen. She married Richard G. Varvil on March 10, 1972 in Lancaster Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1984. Carol owned and operated the Turntable bar an grill in Woodman from 1989-1993. She is survived by her children: Terri (Ray) Saint of Boscobel, Tammy (Lance) Glasbrenner of Boscobel, Kimberly (Dave) Kazda of Boscobel, Lisa (Kevin) Roth of Dodgeville, Todd (Kristen) Kriz of Boscobel, Brett Varvil (Dori Richards) of Belmont. 15 Grandchildren 5 Great-Grandchildren. A sister Karen (Rollie) Martin of Boscobel, and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 6 sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Stan Pegram officiating. Burial in the Homer cemetery rural Boscobel. I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed taking care of your mom and visiting her in her home where we had so much fun talking about our Indians on our farm. She was a very special woman.
