Ronald "Ron" R. Ritchie, age 85 of Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at his home in Boscobel surrounded by his family.  He was born on May 21, 1931 in Crawford County Wisconsin.  The son of Alfred and Lucy (Taft) Ritchie . He married Margaret Farrell on June 11, 1955 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel . Ron farmed most of his life. He is survived by his wife Margaret Ritchie of Boscobel. Four daughters: Kathy (Bob) Everson of Fennimore, Jeanne (Chris) Wolff of Wauzeka, Bonnie (Todd) Stenner of Boscobel, Barbara (Rick) Ritter of Boscobel. Three sons Ron (Christy) Ritchie of Blue River, Michael (Jeannie) Ritchie of Sun Prairie, Jerry (Kathy) Ritchie of Appleton . A son in law: Stanley Fritz of Mt. Carroll Illinois. 18 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchil dren and 4 great-grandchildren on the way. 1 Sister Eileen (Clarence) Kuehni of Blue River. Three brothers: Floyd Ritchie of Madison, Virgil (Maxine) Ritchie of Boscobel, LaVon (Mary) Ritchie of Fitchburg.A Sister in law Alma Ritchie of Darlington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Linda Fritz, three brothers Jim, Alvin, and Royal Ritchie, a sister Iliff Bell.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel.  Father Miguel Galvez officiating. Burial in the Haney Ridge Cemetery Crawford County Wisconsin. Friends may call on Friday June 17, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM with a family prayer service at 8:00 P.M. Friends may also call on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to St. Croix Hospice in Platteville.  Online condolence can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
