Darlene M. Gebhard, age 79 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday May 1, 2015 at Baylor Medical Center in McKinney Texas. She was born on January 24, 1936 in Mt. Zion Wisconsin.  The daughter of Merritt and Marie (Glessner) Pickett.  She married Duane Gebhard on June 5, 1959 at the United Methodist church in Mt. Zion.  

Together they raised Dawn, Terrie, Bradley and Margaret on the family farm.

Darlene was a passionate gardner with  flowers that she gladly shared with others.  She enjoyed the birds that came to her feeders and the wind chimes given to her on Mother's Day.  Darlene is survived by her husband Duane Gebhard of Boscobel. Three children Dawn (Herb Bellis) Gebhard of Lancaster, Bradley (Jan) Gebhard of Caddo Mills Tx., Margaret (Pete Pomerening) Gebhard of Boscobel. Five grandchildren, and five Great-Grandchildren.  A brother David (Cathy) Pickett of Rochester Mn. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Terrie Rosauer, grandsons Charles and Ryan Rosauer and a Great-Grandson Anthony Kirschbaum.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Boscobel. Pastor Jen Johnson officiating. Private family inurnment will be at a later date  in the Boscobel cemetery. Friends may call on Friday May 8, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral home in Boscobel with a American  Legion Auxiliary service at 7:30 P.M. and also at the church on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Boscobel Rescue Squad or the Boscobel American Legion Auxiliary.  On line condolence can be given at www.kendallfuneralservice.com
