I met Len sitting on a bucket at cold springs he would catch a gill stand and drop it in He left his bucket unattended and a scoundrel as he was later called dropped several moon eyes on top of his gills. The next gill that he caught brought to his attention the off fish. He spent 5 minutes telling everyone around him the exact parentage of someone so low as to do this. All the time he was laughing and having fun. We later became friends he never new my name always called me Moustache... He will be sadly missed.

Leonard was my uncle, my dad was his brother Bill. Condolences to my cousins and their families. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, he was my last living uncle. I miss the yearly visits my family always made when I was growing up. I wish I could be there for this service but unfortunately it would be a plane ride and then about 60 miles in snow and ice. I am sending lots of prayers that your memories sustain you through this time.
Vicki

Due to a previous commitment we will not be able to attend Saturday. I just wanted to express my sympathy to the Ward family. Leonard was a great neighbor and a better friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. I'll always remember the great times we had deer hunting. Blessed be his memory.

Sending our condolences on Leonard's passing. I will miss seeing him drive past my house as he headed up to the shop at DA Diggers. He always had a smile and a wave as he went by. He was a very kind man who will be missed
