Georgia D. Childs, age 75 of Boscobel, passed away on Thursday January 23, 2014 at the Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel Wisconsin. She was born on October 13, 1938 in Beloit Wisconsin. The daughter of Harold and Mabel (Copus) Fosnow. She married Gary L. Childs on June 14, 1962 in Crawford County Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1996. Georgia worked on the farm for several years, Cobb canning Factory, Boscobel Nursery and Minona Wire in Wauzeka. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by 3 sons; Dennis Fosnow of New Lisbon, Terry (Peggy) Childs of Bloomington, Brent (Denise) Childs of Mt. Zion. 2 daughters Kalynn (Steve) Hanson of Shopiere Wi., Lynda Childs and Stan Dilley both of Mt. Zion. 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren. A sister Joy (Ron) Childs of Footville. A brother Sidney Fosnow of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Lonnie Childs, a daughter Leslie Childs, a grandson Cory Childs, step-father Raymond Copus.
Memorial services will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Jen Johnson officiating. Burial in the Gays Mills Cemetery, Gays Mills Wisconsin at a later date. Friends may call on Monday January 27, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. A woman who will be missed. She was always kind hearted, and a lot of fun. Silly and make you laugh. Good wife, mom, grandma, sister, and babysitter. But best of all she was my Aunt. If time could only go back I would tell her how much I loved her. My heart goes out to the family. Love you.
