My deepest to all of Robert's family. I always enjoyed talking to him and Paul while working with them in the early 70"s in the real estate business. He always had a prank or joke to tell. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Kathy and the entire Elliott family. Even though I have not seen Mr. and Mrs. Elliott for decades, Mary Kay and I have stayed connected throughout the years. Therefore, I know what a close knit family you have and can only imagine what a difficult time this is for each of you. May the many fond memories you have of him give you much solace during this difficult time.
With my sincerest condolences,
Cindy

Dear Kathy and family,
I was saddened to find out this weekend about the passing of your wonderful husband and father Bob. It came to me as a surprise since I'm not living in that area at this time, and last I heard, he was doing well.
Your family has been a special part of the Swenson family since the late 1960s when my grandparents Luther and Hilda Swenson moved off the farm to a home next to you on Brindly. I know Grandpa teased your girls all the time and Grandma sure loved you girls!! I think she babysat sometimes and always told me that you were the sweetest girls ever. She also was proud that there was relation there. Cousins a few generations back I think.
Dad and Mother, Leonard and Lois Swenson also were blessed by you, not only as neighbors, but professionally. When Dad would come back from Lebanon, it was Bob who helped him with insurance issues. He was always there, trusted, loyal and very friendly. I enjoyed his jokes, and interest in our family life.
Kathy, you and Bob were at the Civil war dance 3 years ago when I was there with Dad. Mom was dying and you were so loving and caring during that time. A week later, you supported us at her funeral. I wish I could have been there today but family life here in St. Paul kept me from coming down. Hopefully next time I'm in town, I can stop in to see you.
I send this with prayers for you all as you adjust to life without one special man. May your love for each other and support grow greater in the days to come. God will help you through, I know from experience.
With love and prayers, Becky Hamoud
