Avonelle Glasbrenner, age 88 of Boscobel, passed away on Sunday February 3, 2013 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse.She was born on October 12, 1924 in Henry Township Crawford County Wisconsin. The daughter of George and Cora (O'Brien) LeGeune. She married Carroll Glasbrenner on November 12, 1942 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2001. She is survived by a daughter Candice (Alan) Kruszka of Thornton Iowa. 21 Grandchildren 7 Great-Grandchildren. 3 sisters Doris Kartman of Lancaster, Marcella Fusher of Boscobel, Hazel Crowley of Steuben. A daughter in law; Sandy Glasbrenner of Boscobel. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jeffrey Glasbrenner, a daughter Jill Jo Glasbrenner, 3 brothers Clifford LeGeune, Cecil LeGeune, Clyde LeGeune, a sister Helen Lostetter and a grandson John Erickson.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday February 8, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 P.M.. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service.
