Julia "Julie" C. Larmore, age 89 of Platteville and formerly of Boscobel, passed away on Thursday December 20, 2012 at Manor Care in Platteville. She was born on December 2, 1923 in Crawford County Wisconsin. The daughter of Ernest and Cynthia (Heisz) Messling. She married Weldon Larmore on August 5, 1942 in Prairie du Chein. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2006 . She is survived by two children; Verlan (Mary Lou) Larmore of Dubuque, Cleo Ann (Dennis) Marshall of Dickeyville.3 Grandchildren: Laura (Dave) Giblin of Dubuque, Sara (Larry) Junk of Dubuque, Jeffrey (Jenny) Marshall of Cuba City. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Cody Giblin of Dubuque, Meridith Junk of Dubuque, Ella Marshall of Cuba City, Chase Marshall of Cuba City. A brother Robert(Ruth Ann) Messling of Mt. Sterling.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 5 Brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday December 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Seneca. Father Zacharie Beya officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday December 24, 2012 from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Service at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Seneca. A special Thank you to all the staff at Manor Care in Platteville. Please accept our condolences and may god bless. We were neighbors to Julie and Weldon when they lived on Old "C" east of Boscobel. They were always friendly, and had a wave for us whenever we drove by there place.

Verlan and Cleo Ann, We were very sorry to hear about Julia. She was a wonderful person and aunt. We have such fond memories of her wit, caring, and playing cards. We are sorry we weren't able to say good bye to her in person, as we had 25 people coming that day, but we thought often of you during the day. Love Rich and Terri
