Robert "Bob" J. Gardner, age 87 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday October 5 2011 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel. He was born on April 21, 1924 in rural Highland Wisconsin.  The son of Clifton James and Mildred (Peterson) Gardner. He married Marcella McDowell on November 5, 1955 at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel Wisconsin.Bob farmed for several years in the Highland Area.  He owned and operated Bob's Feed Service for many years. He was a volunteer for the Boscobel Fire Department for over 20 years.  He drove bus for the Boscobel Schools. He enjoyed hunting& fishing and most any outdoors activity.Watching Wisconsin sports, family, camping and camp fires.  He is survived by his wife Marcella Gardner of Boscobel. Two sons; Steven (Ann) Gardner of Wauwatoso, David (Susan) Gardner of Boscobel. Three daughters; Nancy (William) Ewoldt of Boscobel, Karen (George) Andrews of Wauzeka, Rebecca (Steve) Eck of Boscobel. 12 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren. Two sister in laws: LaVon Gardner of Richland Center, Maxine Boughton of Boscobel. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Leonard Gardner and a grandson Cody Ewoldt.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Stan Pegram officiating., Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday October 8 ,2011 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Service at 11:00  at  the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Boscobel Fire Department or the Boscobel Rescue Squad. On line condolence may be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
