Bernard "Bernie" D. Mischel, age 56 of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday October 15, 2011 at his home in rural Boscobel. He was born on September 16, 1955 in Prairie du Chien Wisconsin.  The son of Rinehart and Marjorie (Foxley) Mischel. He married Mary Crowley on July 28, 1984 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls Wisconsin. Bernie taught at the elementary school in Boscobel for several years.  He is survived by his wife Mary Mischel of Boscobel. Two daughters Emily Mischel of Boscobel, Rebecca Mischel of Boscobel. His mother Marjorie Mischel of Fennimore. Three brothers John (Joyce) Mischel of Ankeny Iowa, Jacob Mischel of Viroqua, Steve Mischel of Dodgeville. Three sisters Joan Engler of Des Moines Iowa, Margaret (Earl) Albright of Muscodine Alabama, Lori (Terry) Legler of Walnut Creek Ca. His Mother and Father in law: Mary Ann and Jay Crowley of Menomonee Falls. He was preceded in death by his father Rinehart Mischel.
A memorial Mass of resurrection will be held on October 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial was held in St. Patrick's Catholic Church Cemetery, Seneca Wisconsin. A celebration of Bernie's life will directly follow the mass at the Fellowship hall next to the church from 3:00 P.M.until  6:30 P.M.  to conclude with  a prayer Service at 6:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to an educational fund.
