Sat October 12, 2013 Mrs. Hughes was one of the sweetest teachers I had in the 90's at CLHS. Very patient and always understanding. A very accomplished woman. I have peace knowing I will see her again one day in Heaven. She will be missed by many.

Sat October 12, 2013 Our heartfelt condolences to the family. Words cannot express the pain we feel when we lose our dear loved ones. Our prayer is that you may find comfort through God’s Word, the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 tells us: "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” May you be strengthened and comforted during this time of loss.

Wed October 16, 2013 Mrs. Hughes was a legacy in the community. She was an excellent teacher and role model. Her memory will live in the hearts of those who love her. I extend my sincere condolences to her family and especially her children. My prayers will continue for you.
