We were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Tom's passing.  As you know, we met you less than a year ago and were very fortunate to be able to work with you on Peace Camp 2018.  Although we never met Tom, we recall the sparkle in your eyes when you spoke of him.  His obituary certainly leaves no doubt that he lived life to the fullest and was dedicated to making our world a better place.
We send our sympathies for your loss.  May your pain be eased by the many wonderful memories Tom left you to cherish for many years.

Thu February 07, 2019 Dear Rhonda, my deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Tom.  He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and for being a champion of the environment.  His dedication to the Susquehanna Trailers kept it a vital social club for outdoor enthusiasts.  I will miss his weekly reports and pictures of every Sunday’s hike.  My last fond memory of Tom was just a few weeks ago on WVIA day at Elk when I was chasing him down the mountain in his iconic “Mad River” ski hat.  Regretably, I will be on vacation from March 8 to March 16 and will not be able to attend the March 9th celebration of his life, but my thoughts and well wishes will be with you, your family and all of Tom’s many friends and colleagues. We were all shocked and we are so sorry to learn about Tom's passing. Losing a husband and a father (as you did with Tom) is difficult to understand or comprehend. We are so very sorry for your loss and hope that Tom rests in peace.  (Tom's obituary is a beautiful memory of all the good he did in his life here on Earth.)

i still think my husband is lying next to me in bed, and perhaps he is!!!!!!!!
