Bernard J. Bolock, 85. of Exeter passed away on Monday December 17, 2018 at the Gardens at East Mountain Nursing Home, Plains Twp.

Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Reteskie  Bolock.

Mr. Bolock was a member of St. Barbara's Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, and was a graduate of Exeter High School and the Wilkes-Barre Business College. He was a U.S. Veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines.

He was a lifetime member of the disabled American War Veterans, the Exeter Post #833 of Korean War Vets of Luzerne County and the VFW Post 396, Wyoming. also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Luzerne where he was a 4th degree

Before his retirement,he was the owner of Bernie's Flowers and Gifts in Exeter.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday at 9:30am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.

Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 18702
