Music by The Piano Brothers

Annmarie L. Galli, of Wyoming, 59, passed away on Friday August 17, 2018 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born July 26, 1959 to the late Leonard (Kiki) Galli and Beatrice Galli, Exeter, Annmarie graduated from Wyoming Area High School, Class of 1977. Annie retired from Penna. State Office building, Scranton, where she worked in the State workers Insurance Fund as an accountant.

If you knew Annie you knew her name was one word, "Anniegalli", no first or last name. She was also given other titles in her lifetime such as "Annual" and "Meanannie" and" Auntannie","GrammaAnnie" always coming out as one word only.

She lived her life for her families and her friends. The more the merrier. Her family of choice were her friends and she had hundreds.

Vacations, deep sea fishing, and the beach were some of her favorite pastimes. As well as a Miller Lite in hand, and dancing to Aretha Franklin.

Annie is survived by her wife and soul mate of 24 years, Lynn Yonushka Galli. She is also survived by a stepson Kristopher Yonushka, wife Alana, Jenkins Twp., and two grandson Nando and Mario who she loved with all her heart.

Also surviving are her mother Beatrice Galli and a brother Leonard and his wife Michelle Galli, Exeter, nieces and nephew Brittany Galli , Brandon Galli, and Olivia Garbush with whom she shared  cherished and  many wonderful memories, brothers in law, sisters in law and cousins who loved her.

Annie's wish was to celebrate her life and every wonderful, fun memory you all have of her.

Many have lost battles with cancer, not AnnieGalli. She won her life battle and took it on to her new journey. Her miracles were many over and over again only to keep going.

A special thank you to Dr. Thomas and staff at Hematology Oncology, Dunmore , the Hospice of the Sacred Heart  and Dr. Philip Webb and Staff at Webb Chiropractic , Wyoming.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 1pm until 3pm and again from 5pm until 8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, and again on Tuesday from 9 until 10am.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 10:30 am from the funeral home followed by church services at 11:00am at the United Methodist Church, Broad and Church St., Pittston. The visiting pastor Sandra Waldee Warden, will be officiating.

Interment will be privately held.

I was very saddened to hear about Annie's passing. My brother Dave called me to let me know. Although we were cousins, I never really saw Annie much since I married and relocated to California many many years ago. But I did see her when she came to the services for my dad and shortly after for my mom. She was a very caring and loving person. My best to her wife and family during this very sad time. Love,Barb
