John M. Stefanik, of West Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 11, 2018 at his home.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late John and Leona Stefanick.

John was a graduate of Swoyersville High School and Kings College.  

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and had worked as a computer programmer.

He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing at Frances Slocum, he was an avid New York Jets fan. He enjoyed his Dunkin Donuts and McDonald’s friends

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Stefanik
Surviving are his son Michael Stefanik and his fiancé,Stephanie  in  BelAir, Md.

A memorial service will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter from 5:00 until 7:00pm.

Memorial donations, if desired may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

We are so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a good friend and a great neighbor.

John always greeted you with his warm smile. I first met John while bartending a few years back and he was always great company and so sweet. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.
