Joseph L Berti, 66, of Inkerman, passed away on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, with his loving family by his side.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Clara Z. Tomassetti Berti.

Joseph was a member of Corpus Christi Parish at Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston.

He was a 1969 graduate of Wyoming Area High School and served his country in the U. S. Navy for 3 years.

He was a member of the United Association of Plumbers and pipe fitters Union Local 524, and worked as a plumber for the union.

Surviving are his wife of 12 years, the former Donna  Laure and children: Joseph and his wife Lori, Pittston, Victor and his wife Melissa, Dallas, and Chris, Inkerman.

Grandchildren, Michelle, Joseph and Jessica. and a great grandson Alex.

Brother John and his wife Sharyn, Swoyersville, and a sister Maria Elena and her husband Thomas Petro, Exeter.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 9:30am in Corpus Christi Parish at Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Ave.,West Pittston.

The Monsignor John Sempa will be celebrant along with The Rev. Thomas Petro, nephew of Joseph.

Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Mausoleum, Wyoming,Pa.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.

Very sorry to hear this news! Your father meant a lot to me because he was always looking out for me and finding things to do when I was in town since I was little kid.

He will be greatly missed!
