Joseph A. Biamonte, 86, of Honesdale, passed away on Thursday October 5, 2017 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Newton, N.J. he was the son of the late Anthony and Maria Ponessa Biamonte.
Mr. Biamonte was a self employed carpenter in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his brother Louis Biamonte.
Surviving are his wife,the former Ada Eamign Biamonte and children Lisa Portice, Honesdale, Valerie Meyer, Newton, N.J. and Anthony Biamonte, Furlong, Pa.
4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter and a great grandson and a great granddaughter.
Also surviving are a brother Frank Biamonte, and a sister Mary Kozlowski.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Newton, N.J.
