James V. Colonna, 91, of Kingston, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2017 at the Manor Care Nursing Home, Kingston.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank and Philomena Givino Colonna.

He was a graduate of GAR High School , Class of 1939 and went on to diesel engineering school .

He then worked as a mechanic for Bonner Chevrolet and Barber Ford and Caprari Motors.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served his country during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife the former Mary Santasania in Oct. 2009.

Surviving are his daughter Sandra Dima, N.J. and a brother Frank Colonna, Forty Fort, anda sister Anita  Unvarsky, Wilkes-Barre.

7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial to be held at St. Ignatius Church, Kingston_______________________

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
