Gino A. Chiavacci, 86, of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp., Pa.


Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late Gino and Lena Galantini Chiavacci.

Gino was a U.S. Army  Veteran and had worked at Bridon American Mfg. Co., Exeter  as a machinist prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife the former, Betty Ayoub.

Surviving are his son Gino, Exeter and a daughter Gina Crocket, Florida.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00am on September 23, 2017 at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church.

Relatives and friends may call from 10am until time of mass at the church.

Interment will be in Italian Independent Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave. Exeter.
