Tina L. Furner, 51, of Exeter, passed into eternal life in the arms of our Lord on Friday March 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family after a 2 year battle of cancer.
Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of Mary Theresa Mitchell Ellsworth, Kingston and the late Howard Ellsworth.
Tina was a member of St. Monica's Parish and was a 1983 graduate of of the West Side Vo-Tech, Pringle. She was employed for 16 years at the Price Chopper as a seafood dept. manager.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Howard and Sara Ellsworth, and maternal grandparents, Charles and Florence Mitchell, and infant sisters, Lisa and Mary Ellen Ellsworth.
Surviving are her loving husband of 6 years, Joseph Furner, and daughter Jennifer Redmond, Exeter and her fiancee Brian Hooks and son Frank Redmond IV, also of Exeter. grandchildren, Logan, and Leah Callahan and Lilly Hooks.
Also brother Howard L. ( Karen ) Ellsworth, Texas and sisters,Theresa ( Walter) Danko, Parsons, and Florence ( Scott) Remy, Phoenix, Arizona.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday from 5-8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter
Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am at St. Monica''s Parish, Eighth St., West Wyoming, with the Rev. Peter Tomczak, pastor, as celebrant.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Frankie, Jennifer, Joe and Family, I am dearly sorry for the loss of your mother/wife. Tina was like a mother to me growing up. She was one of the warmest and most caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I am sorry for your great loss." She was a fighter. Heaven has gained an beautiful angel.
