Mary M. Hensley, 91, of West Pittston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, surrounded by her family.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Dominick Thomas Nuzzalo and Mary Barone Nuzzalo.

Mary was a 1943 graduate of West Pittston High School and a graduate of Empire Beauty School.
She had worked as a hairdresser for Maries Beauty Shop , Pittston and prior to her retirement had also worked at Suburban Publishers for 4 ½ years.

She was a member and daily communicant of Corpus Christi Parish, at Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston and its Altar and Rosary Society .
Mary lived for her faith and her family. She was a self giving person and a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her husband Morlyn Hensley, in 1977 and a grandson Morlyn Lesho, sisters, Gertrude Bell, Lillian Sperlazzo, Carmella Salvaggio, and brothers James Nuzzalo and her twin Thomas Nuzzalo,  Dr. Anthony Nezlo, and Thomas Nezlo.


Surviving are her daughter Mary Margaret and her husband William Lesho, Exeter and a son Edward and his wife Debby Hensley, West Pittston.

3 grandchildren, Edward and Erik Hensley and William Lesho, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4pm until 8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 9:30am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am at Corpus Christi Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston. The Rev. James Alco will be celebrant with Msgr. John Sempa, pastor, as co- celebrant.

Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
