Jospehine Shission, 84, of Plains twp., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 2, 2016.

Born in Keystone section of Plains Twp., she was the daughter of the late Costantino and Elisa Biagioni Spinosi.

Josephine was a 1948 graduate of Plains High School and had worked for Plains Blouse and Leslie Fay.

She belonged to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre .

Preceding her in death were her sisters Irene Pellegrini, Mary Kopec and a brother Fred Spinosi.

Surviving are her daughters: Lorraine (Theodore) Bozenko, Plains and Liz (Blaise) Mushinsky, Plains.
Grandchildren: Lisa Angelo, Amy Bozenko and Marie Mushinsky and a great granddaughter, Maria

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. from 10:00am until 12:00pm.

Office of Christian burial will follow at 1pm at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.

Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetey, Carverton.

Liz and Lisa and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. She was a wonderful woman with a great smile. I am so sorry I could not be there for you in this difficul time. I had a plan trip to Texas for the last several months and left early Saturday morning.
