Jason was a compassionate, devoted, and loving son and brother with a heart of gold. His family meant the world to him.  His parents loved him more than life itself, and his brother was his best friend.

He was a very active, health conscious individual. He enjoyed working out at the gym with his dad and brother, and he often golfed with his Dad. He loved his Mom with all his heart and soul.

Jason was a hard worker. He was employed by Prudential Investments for ten years, and was currently employed as a forklift operator at Lowe's Distribution Center. He has also been self-employed for the last fifteen years at Jason-Dominick's Jewelry.

Sadly, Jason was a cousin I never met but his loss is still painful nonetheless. Please don't cry for him as he has ascended to be with Our Lord and we shall rejoice in his Easter. If when doing something and his name pops into your head, he is there with you in that moment. He will forever live in our hearts, one heartbeat away.

Jason never failed to lift spirits or give of himself when others were in need. Boundless energy, incredible enthusiasm and genuine compassion poured from a huge heart. Friends were family, and family was everything.

Gone far too soon and will always be missed. Until we meet again, old friend.

Strength and countless prayers to Dad, Mom, Mark and all other family and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Granteed,

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Jason. During one of the darkest times in our family's life when we had no place to live, Jason allowed us to rent his patio home for more than three years until we could re-establish our lives and move forward. Always polite and always smiling and friendly, we considered Jason part of our extended family. He was an amazing young man who took a chance on us and we will always be eternally grateful to him.

I broke my leg on Monday and was in a hospital out of town until late Thursday. I didn't see the newspapers until Friday night and when I saw the name, all I could think was that it might be an uncle or someone with the same name. My husband and I cried when we read the obit and realized it was our Jason. Our son, who also had major respect for Jason, was shocked and is still in disbelief that he is gone.

I tell you all of this because I want you to know, as I am sure you do, what a wonderful person Jason was on so many levels. For him to help total strangers as he helped us is a testament to him and his goodness. May his goodness and the memories you have of him help you through this very tough time. His body may be no longer here but know his spirit will live in your hearts and minds forever. May you find the peace to carry on knowing for too short of time, you had the chance to be with him.
