Robert F. Remsky, 74, of Exeter, passed away on Thursday August 6, 2015 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Albin, Sr., and Katherine Strubeck Remsky.

Robert was a graduate of Pittston High School and was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter.

He worked as a machine operator retiring from Potlatch Corporation, Ransom.

Mr. Remsky was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran who served his country from 1960-1964.

He was preceded in death by his son Mark Remsky.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, the former Beverly Korker and daughters Lisa and her husband Michael Thompson, Pittston and Roxanne and her husband Mark Krefski, Ashley. A grandson Mark Remsky and 2 great granddaughters: Sophia and Sharlee. Also,brothers, Ronald and his wife Deanna, Plains Twp., Albin and his wife Molly, Pittston, and David Remsky, Forty Fort., and a mother in law Margaret Korker, Exeter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter , followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter with the Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, as celebrant.

Military honors provided by the U.S. Marine Corp with Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
