"Big" Ron F. Miller, Sr., 71, of Exeter, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp.

Born in Dixfield, Maine, he was the son of the late Elsworth and Evelyn Miller.

He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and worked as a mechanic for Pagnotti Enterprises, Inc. for most of his working life.

Big Ron was the President of the Pittston Panthers for almost 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard and a sister Elaine Socci.

Surviving are his sons: Ronald and his wife Lynn, Trucksville, Donald and his wife Kelly, Dupont, Michael, Pittston, George, Pittston and Brian, Larksville.
A daughter Tina Omens and her husband Andy, Pittston.
15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a brother Gerald and his wife Joan, Newport Richie, Fla. , and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 4pm until 7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10am from the funeral home with the Msgr. John Sempa, officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. View Burial Park, Harding.

Thoughts and Prayers sent for Big Ron & all his family..! He was a big part in a lot of peoples lives. He gave his time to our children to see that all were able to participate and be a part of the Pittston Panthers. He will surely be missed by all but most definitely be remembered....Love Ya Big Guy!

I am saddened to hear of your loss. Uncle Ronnie was such a huge part of my childhood and my mother loved him so. I have thought of him often over the years and regret that I didn't see him more. He will be missed but always remembered.
