Raymond "Edward" Mengak, 90, of Kingston, passed away on Friday January 23, 2015 at the St. Luke's Villa, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Peter and Emma Martin Mengak.

Ed was a graduate of GAR High School, and was a U.S.Army Veteran having served during WWII as a Staff Sgt. with the 405th Infantry.

He had worked as a certified dental technician.

Prededing him in death were his wife Vilma in 2013 and brothers Peter, and Michael and a sister Mary Mengak.

Surviving are his sisters Mildren Andreas and Eleanor Blaker, both of Wilkes-Barre and a nephew Mark Chepanonis and his wife Kathy, Swoyersville, along with other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private.

Entombment will be in the family Mausoleum at the Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
