Jean ( Regina ) Manderson, 87, of West Wyoming,  formerly of Exeter, passed away Wednesday December 24, 2014 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ethel Armitage Cavanaugh.

Jean was a member of St. Barbara Parish  and its Christian Mothers and Social Concerns Prayer Group. She was the unoffical greeter at the Donut Connection, Exeter.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Manderson and daughters Sharon Manderson and Barbara Sowa and a sister Dorothy Dixon and a brother William Cavanaugh, Jr. Also her companion Jake Dilik.

Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Linda and Leonard Blandina, West Wyoming and a brother Donald Cavanaugh, Wyoming. Grandchildren, Ken and Patti Gilley, West Pittston, and Lisa and Jeff Mleczynski, Pittston, and great grandchildren Jeffrey David and Riley Mleczynski.

Funeral services will be on Monday December 29, 2014 at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter  followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Cecelia's Church, Exeter with the Rev. Michael Finn, pastor as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Cedar St., Exeter.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 4- 8 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Barbara Parish, 28 Memorial St., Exeter, The Oblates of St. Joseph, 1800 Hwy 315, Pittston, or to the SPCA.
