Dolores A. Marancik, 84, of West Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Browntown section of Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Clara Marianelli Sebastianelli.

Dolores was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, and was a graduate of Pittston ( Corklane) schools.

She had worked in the garment industry for Lori Dress and Valley Dress, Pittston
and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She also belonged to the Luzerne Knights of Columbus  Ladies of Assumpta Society, and the Pittston Senior Citizens Club.

She and her late husband Michael who passed in 1991 were married on August 18, 1951.

She was also preceded in death by her son John in 2010 and sisters, Irma Ridolfi, Alba Matteucci, Susan Monelli, and a brother Constantino (Bello) Sebastianelli.

Surviving are her sons Michael Marancik, West Wyoming, and Louis and his wife Tammy Marancik, Lake Twp..daughter in law Lorraine Marancik, West Wyoming and  granddaughters Taryn and Laura Marancik and a great grandson, John Cassainplishka.
Also her neighbor and best friend, Betty Mazar, West Wyoming.

Funeral services will be on Saturday at 9:30am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.  
Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian burial will be at 10:00am at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 271 Tripp St., Swoyersville with the Rev. Mykhaylo Prodanets, officiating.

Parastas will be Friday at 7:00pm with the Rev. Gary Mensinger.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Denison Cemetery, 85 Dennison St., Swoyersville.
