Amy L. McNeil, 81, of Exeter, passed away on Sunday evening August 24, 2014 at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.

Born in Renovo, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Batchelte Dreyer.

Prior to her retirement, she was the head housekeeper for the Holiday Inn, Hazleton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas F. McNeil, Jr. in 2002.

Surviving are her caregivers, John and Bonnie McNeil, Exeter.

Children: Donna Holtzapple, Renovo;Karen Marie Carnell, Sodus, NY; Florence Miller,  Clyde, NY; Lee McCoole, Cheyenne, Wyoming; and David McCoole, Hubert, NC

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
