Edmund B. ( Chickie) Podczaski,90, a resident of the Gino J. Merli Veteran Center, passed away on Saturday April 19, 2014 at the Regional Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Plains, he was the son of the late Michael and Apolonia ( Pearl) Loch.

He was a U.S.  Army Veteran, having served during World War ll.

Surviving are his nieces , Catherine Ann Podczaski- Suraci and her husbank Frank Suraci, Exeter  and Patricia Grubbs- Griner and nephew, Michael Grubbs.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 8:30am until 10am at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Swoyersville, with the Rev. Joseph Pisaneschi, as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Plains with Military Honors accorded by the Plains American Legion.
