Elizabeth H. Zalepa, 83, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away on Sunday December 1, 2013 at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Heber and Beatrice Green Drake.

She was a member of the Corpus Christi Church in Chambersburg, Pa.
Elizabeth was a graduate of the Eastern High School in Detroit, MI, and prior to her retirement had worked for the Tobyhanna Army Depot.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George B. Zalepa,  with who she had traveled extensively while he was stationed in Germany before returning back to the United States and settling in Chambersburg.  She was also an avid swimmer and reader and enjoyed volunteering with the Busy Hands Quilters.

Surviving are her son George C. Zalepa, Portland, Pa. and her grandson George D. Zalepa, Esq., New York and her half brother Jim Drake, San Bruno, Ca. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday from 5-8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30am from the funeral home. A. mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter.

Interment will be in St. John the Slovak Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
