Clara S. DeGraba, 88, (39) of Exeter, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.
 
Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Valerio and Santina Bertoli Zurla.
 
Clara was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter and was a 1942 graduate of Exeter High School.
 
Prior to her retirement, she had worked at the Wyoming Area School District cafeteria.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic DeGraba in 1968 and brothers, Descio, Steve, and Frank Zurla and sisters, Norma Zurla, Ann Massara, and Amelia Menghini.
 
Surviving are her loving son and favorite daughter in law, James and Cindy DeGraba, Exeter and a sister Rita Nardone, Wilkes-Barre. Also  surviving are her favorite buddy, "Spaz" and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday from 5-8pm at the Anthony L Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston.
A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday at 9:30am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter. The family requests those attending the funeral go directly to the church on Saturday morning.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
 
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
