Patrick J. Bartoli,63, of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 19, 1949, at Pittston Hospital son of the late Patrick A.and Josephine M. Razawich Bartoli.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents were his  grandparents Luigi and Mary Bartoli, Wyoming and Joseph and Mary Maslousky Razawich,Exeter. and his niece/goddaughter Melissa Messina of West Pittston.

Patrick leaves behind his son Matthew and his wife Susan Jester Bartoli, Exeter, his loving brother Joseph Bartoli, Exeter, grandchildren who adored him deeply, Patrick and Abigail,and a niece/goddaughter Toni-Dale Novick George, Dallas along with numerous aunts, uncles,cousins, nephews and nieces.

Patty as his family and friends called him was a graduate of Wyoming Area School District, Class of 1967, the first graduating class of the merger. Also he graduated form Wilkes-Barre Business College receiving his Certification in Accounting. He was also accepted at Drake University in Florida.

A big supporter and follower of Wyoming Area Warriors football team, his only regret was not being able to see his grandson Patrick play on the 7th and 8th grade team. He was equally  proud of his granddaughter Abby, with her numerous medals from her Irish Step Dancing.

He was involved in Exeter Borough Politics having served four years on Council, and serving as Fire Committee Chairman for two of his four years.

He was a member of St. Anthony' of Padua Church, Exeter his whole life, where he served as an altar boy and then as custodian for twenty years.

He was a life long fan of the Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts, his favorite players were Johnny Unitas and Peyton Manning. Also a big fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penn State Nittany Lions.


Funeral service will be on Saturday at 10;30am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter.

Interment will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Schooley St.,Exeter.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5:00-8:00p,m at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association, National Breast Cancer Foundation, or Exeter Hose Co. #1
