Estelle J. Meko, 93, formerly of Ashley, passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2013 at the Hampton House Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Julia Gatsky Zarrizski.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a nurses aide. Preceding her in death were her sisters Helen Nicholas and Eleanor Zarzecki  and a niece Barbara Nicholas.

Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Meko, Wyoming.

Services are private and are entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
