Mildred L. Vitelli, 96, formerly of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at St. Luke’s Villa, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Hughestown, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Maria Dardus Ciavarella.
She was a graduate of Hughestown High School and was a member of the former St. Cecilia’s Church, Exeter. Prior to her retirement, she had worked in the garment industry and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, Joseph Mack and her second husband, Joseph Vitelli also a brother , Matthew Ciavarella, and sisters Madeline Campfield and Jennie Faruggio.
Surviving are her daughters: Donna and her husband Anthony Angelella, Pittston Twp., Marilyn and her husband Robert Price, Wilkes-Barre, and a son Matthew Vitelli, Jenkins Twp.
4 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
Also sisters Elizabeth Hayford and Ann Larkin, both of the Syracuse area.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 9:30 am. at St. Cecilia’s Church of St. Barbara Parish, Wyoming Ave.Exeter.
Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8am until 9:00am at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
