Ted Joseph Yelland, 32, of West Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.


Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara Moskal Yelland.

Ted was a 2004 graduate of GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army for 4 years and another 2 years in the National Guard.

Surviving are his wife of 7 years, the former Melanie Bonikowski and step daughter, Justice Bonikowski and son, Jude Yelland, and sisters Jennifer  and Barbara ( Katie)Yelland, both of Wilkes-Barre

Funeral arrangements are pending from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
