Rose Marie (Zizi) Crisci, 81, of Exeter passed away on Saturday evening February 27, 2016 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose Uritz Crisci.

Rose Marie was a graduate of West Pittston High School and went on to graduate from the Wilkes-Barre Business College.

She belonged to  St. Barbara Parish, Exeter, and  had worked at the General Motors Acceptance Corporation, Kingston retiring in 1988.

Zizi was the epicenter of the family and spent countless hours on the phone communicating with numerous family members and friends on a daily basis.  She was a devout Catholic and bulletin collector.  She was generous with her love, soulful advice and sometimes unwanted opinion.  She was not a baker.  She was not a cook and she never made homemade ravioli.  In her younger days she enjoyed riding her bicycle and ice skating.  She was a collector of table cloths and knickknacks.

Preceding her in death were her brothers Michael, Jr. and George Crisci.

Surviving are her brother Robert and his wife Marilyn Crisci, Indiana and a sister in law Irma Crisci, Oakland, N.J. along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 8:30am until 9:45am at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter,
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Cecelia Church, Exeter with the Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton,

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100_William St., Dunmore, or to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement,333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, Pa. 19111.
