Clyde G. Wardell, 79, of West Pittston, passed away on Friday August 1, 2014 at the Geisinger South Celtic Health Care, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late Edward and Ruth Tuttle Wardell.

Prior to his retirement, he had worked for Rex Shoe Co., for 30 years and then Exeter Boro in the  custodial dept. and was also a street crossing guardian.

Surviving are his children: Linda Femeo, Ashley, Rena and her husband Elmer Hurrey, Swoyersville, Laura Hurrey, West Pittston and Clyde Wardell, Wilkes-Barre.

Funeral services were private .
