Fri January 11, 2013 Uncle John you will be missed very much. I have been thinking of you & and Rosemary a lot lately as as I told her last night something kept me from calling these last few weeks.  You are now with a lot of your family and at peace and no longer are in pain.  You will be forever in my prayers. God Bless you.  Love Jan

Fri January 11, 2013 To the family:  I am very sorry to read of John's passing.  May you find some peace at this time.  I knew John and Rosemarie from the time of my father, Charlie Gilbert, building their house on Kinne Street.  I remember John as a kind and friendly man and Rosemarie as a very pretty young woman.  I followed John's example by bringing home a very pretty German girl as my wife when I returned from duty in Germany in 1959.

Sat January 12, 2013 I have great memories of camping with you all at 8th lake. We had a wonderful time, planning the trips, deciding what to bring, who was going to do what and who was going to wear the 8th Lake boots. I loved sitting around the campfiire and telling stories. I remember the time we brought our black and white cat (snoopy) and the campers next store to us thought it was a skunk, what fun. Thank you for all the great memories and the good fun we had together. Missing you from Sebring Florida

Mon January 14, 2013 To the family......Some of my fondest memories are with your family and mine and the Hudaks camping in the mountains and the associated fun and learning.  How can we ever forget the trip to Maine!  John was a fine man and the days of my youth were blessed by knowing him.

There's nothing I can say to ease the pain of a loss, however your friends and family will be there for you and you will find peace in good memories.
